The Firm

Storch Amini & Munves centers its practice on complex business disputes, spanning a wide number of industries and legal areas.  The firm has experience practicing in state and federal courts throughout the country.  Its lawyers are also well versed in alternative forms of dispute resolution, ranging from mediation to appraisal and arbitration before various tribunals, including JAMS Endispute, the American Arbitration Association, and the International Court of Arbitration.

The firm has the capability and the resources to represent large entities, and at the same time is able to dedicate personal attention to the remainder of its clients, who are generally individuals and small to mid-size businesses. 

The vast majority of our client relationships originate on recommendations from existing clients, and we work regularly with clients who have general counsel to handle their everyday legal needs.  Among our goals in every case, towards which we work closely with our clients, is to proceed with a full appreciation for the impact that any given litigation may have on a client’s overall posture and to avoid any unnecessary duplication of effort or expense.

As a small litigation boutique, we recognizing the high costs and burdens of litigation and pride ourselves on seeking the most cost effective way of resolution. At the same time, we provide the high caliber of service equivalent to many of the leading law firms. In so doing, the firm structures its fee arrangements on a case by case basis, handling matters on a more traditional, hourly fee for services basis, as well as under a variety of flat fee and contingency arrangements.  We understand our clients’ need, in litigation, to have some certainty and control over their expenses and, accordingly, the firm devotes extensive time at the outset of our professional relationships to developing budgeted litigation plans, complete with fee and cost caps where appropriate, together with incentives for prompt, efficient service and results.

Foreign Language Capabilities

As litigation has become international in scope, the firm has recognized the need to provide multilingual services.  Currently, the firm employs attorneys or staff conversant in French, Portuguese, Spanish, Farsi and Hebrew.
