Russell D. Munves
Russell D. Munves is a 1974 graduate of Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Mr. Munves has litigated a variety of commercial cases, in both federal and state court, involving general contract matters, joint venture agreements, corporate dissolutions, factoring agreements, limited partnership disputes and trademark and copyright infringement. As a consultant to the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) since 1980, Mr. Munves has created and presented the FDA “Food and Drug Law Course” to more than 4000 investigators, analysts, headquarters enforcement and premarket approval personnel from the Center for Biologic, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Center for Veterinary Medicine, Center for Drugs and Office of Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Munves has consulted with companies concerning all facets of FDA compliance. Mr. Munves provides general business representation to companies concerning legal compliance matters and matters relating to raising equity and debt financing.
Mr. Munves is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Food and Drug Law Section, and The Federal Courts Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association.
