Elizabeth J. Shampnoi

Elizabeth J. Shampnoi is an Associate whose primary area of practice is commercial litigation. Ms. Shampnoi graduated from Mercy College with highest honors in 1996. Ms. Shampnoi received her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2002, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Competition Board.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Shampnoi was formerly associated with the American Arbitration Association for seven years, where she served as District Vice President of the New York Office. While District Vice President, she consulted on all phases of Alternative Dispute Resolution for both law firms and corporations and supervised all New York State regional operations related to the recruitment, education, training and development of arbitrators and mediators.

Ms. Shampnoi has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences and CLE programs, lecturing on mediation and arbitration, among other topics. She has also been published in the Lorman Education Services Construction Update, the Lorman Education Services Legal Update, and The CPA Journal.

Ms. Shampnoi is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Connecticut, and also in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York County Lawyers Association. Additionally, Ms. Shampnoi serves as a Director at large for the Association of Conflict Resolution for Greater New York and is chair of its Development Committee.
