Matthew D. Kane
Matthew D. Kane graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in 1999 with a B.A. in Government. Mr. Kane is a 2003 cum laude graduate of the Duke University School of Law. While at the Duke University School of Law, he served as the Articles Editor of the Alaska Law Review, published by the school under contract with the Alaska State Bar Association. During law school, Mr. Kane worked as a Student Attorney at the AIDS Legal Assistance Project.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kane was an associate with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York, where he gained extensive experience in various types of civil litigation, including complex commercial, corporate investigations, securities, class action, auditor defense, antitrust, insurance, and white collar defense practices.
Mr. Kane is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar and the American Bar Association.
